Louis Armezzani

Lou started training Jiu-Jitsu when he was 21 at the Royce Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Scranton, PA. After two years he received his bue belt from Royce. Shortly after receiving his blue belt Lou began fighting MMA. After his first MMA fight he was signed to the LionHeart Fight Team where he was teammates with Phil Davis, Paul Bradley, and longtime friend Jimy Hettes. Lou’s fight career ended after a shoulder injury in his fifth professional MMA fight that required extensive reconstructive surgery.

Throughout his journey in MMA, Lou had the privilege of training under many accomplished BJJ black belts such as Ricardo De la Riva, Tony Passos, Jeff Rockwell, Roberto “Cyborg”Abreu, and as of the past four years Jason Ratchford and Ailson “Jucao” Brites. In December of 2014 Lou received his black belt from Jason Ratchford and Ailson “Jucao” Brites.
